Abstract


This IDC Survey presents select results of multiple waves of IDC's 2022 Worldwide Future of Enterprise Resiliency and Spending (FERS) Survey. All contained results highlight digital initiatives, external pressures, IT requirements, and connectivity plans that drive the adoption and advancement of network management systems and services — particularly network observability and automation solutions. In assembling the selected slide content, results from Waves 4 to 9 in 2022 were processed.

(Note: Prior network management-related worldwide FERS Survey results for 2021 and 2022 are contained in Network Observability and Automation: Key Contributors to Digital Priorities and Pressures, IDC #US49271122, June 2022, and Digital Demands Drive Network Analytics and Automation, IDC #US48398421, November 2021.) While the results offered in these slides represent worldwide and regional views, more granular views (e.g., country, company size, and vertical industry) are available to IDC clients upon request.
