Abstract

This IDC study sets forth IDC's definition of the worldwide low-code, no-code, and intelligent developer technologies competitive market. The products, vendors, and revenue covered by this taxonomy represent a subset of IDC's functional market taxonomies. The competitive market is described in terms of use cases and includes definitions and a sample list of representative vendors and offerings for each functional market segment represented in the competitive market.

"The low-code, no-code, and intelligent developer technologies taxonomy recognizes how the application development process continues to evolve," said Michele Rosen, IDC's research manager for Low-Code, No-Code, and Intelligent Developer Technologies. "Software vendors from a variety of backgrounds are offering products to help organizations achieve digitization, modernization, and innovation by streamlining or eliminating steps from the development process and by enabling a wider range of employees to develop software."
