Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight provides a view on enterprise preferences in the United States for low-code/no-code tools. The document contains data from IDC's Application Services Survey, which was completed in December 2021. IDC's Worldwide Intelligent Application Services practice conducted this survey to understand enterprise preferences for low-code/no-code tools. The overall goal of the survey was to identify how organizations' preferences around application development and life-cycle management are evolving, and how application service providers can align their services offerings and capabilities to address varied customer needs.

"Application services providers should understand how buyer organizations are approaching application development using low code/no code to better support evolving customer needs as well as maintain deeper customer relationships in an increasingly competitive environment," explained Pete Marston, research director, Worldwide Intelligent Application Services.
