This IDC study provides an update to the data protection-as-a-service (DPaaS) market for 2021–2026. This document provides additional analytical components that are new to this year's document.
"Data protection as a service continues to grow rapidly in all segments," said Phil Goodwin, research vice president, Infrastructure Systems, Platforms, and Technologies Group, IDC. "We forecast that disaster recovery as a service growth will slow slightly but backup as a service and archive as a services will remain apace. Moreover, we believe cyber-recovery as a service will emerge as a measurable market and reach $317.7 million by 2026 with a 149.3% CAGR during that time."
