This IDC study analyzes the U.S. mobile consumer and business services market outlook for the 2023–2027 period.
"Despite being a mature market with penetration rates above 100%, mobile subscriber growth continues to outpace population growth and demonstrates surprising resiliency in the face of a challenging, uncertain economic environment," says Jason Leigh, research manager, Mobility at IDC. "Wireless connectivity is increasingly foundational in the hierarchy of consumer and business needs, providing mobile operators insulation from economic and social vagaries, and creating a platform for innovation to further ingratiate wireless services with daily consumer life and essential business operations."
