This IDC Survey Spotlight provides a U.S. view on how enterprises IT teams coordinate endpoint management and security duties. The document contains data from IDC's July 2021 U.S. Enterprise Workspace and Security Survey of 815 IT decision makers.

"We saw the endpoint management roles around PC and mobile devices, respectively, covered with unified endpoint management," says Phil Hochmuth, program VP, Endpoint Management and Enterprise Mobility, IDC. "Now, we're starting to see the convergence of endpoint device and security management, as these functions, and the tools used to execute these functions, become more integrated and packaged by vendors."
