"The tablet market in 2021 delivered a strong encore to 2020's 13.2%," states Linn Huang, research vice president, Devices and Displays at IDC, "though signs of saturation and slowdown have clearly manifest toward the end of the year. The iPad continued its dominance, while Lenovo and other Chinese firms stepped up big time in the market void vacated by a sanctioned Huawei."
