Abstract
This IDC study provides a worldwide forecast for telecommunications services for 2023–2026. Service forecasts are segmented between commercial and consumer services and wireline and mobile. This document reflects sales of services to the end user and does not include revenue from wholesale services.
"Communication service providers generated over $1.3 trillion of service revenue in 2021 and is forecast to grow to nearly $1.5 trillion by the end of 2026," says Daryl Schoolar, vice president, Worldwide Telecommunications Insights. "During that time period, mobile services are expected to out earn wireline services, and the consumer market will remain more than three times the size of the commercial services market."
