This IDC study presents the worldwide public cloud infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) market shares for 2021.
"The public cloud IaaS market experienced impressive growth during 2021, expanding 35.7% to $89.1 billion," said Dave McCarthy, research vice president, Cloud and Edge Infrastructure Services at IDC. "Cloud continues to be the preferred choice for infrastructure, data, and application modernization initiatives. The addition of new deployment models to support hybrid and multicloud environments will accelerate the migration of enterprise workloads."
