This IDC study presents a forecast for the worldwide tier 2 SOC analytics and cloud-native extended detection and response (XDR) market.
"No one should divorce the advances made in cybersecurity from the condition of the world at large," observes Chris Kissel, vice president, Security and Trust Products, IDC. "However, in 2022, significant progress was made on what features could be offered on an XDR and in the power of automation that enables faster incident response. Maybe out of necessity, companies desire a shift-through result where in the process of remediation, a company enhances its overall cybersecurity posture in the same fell swoop when remediating a specific incident."
