IDC Innovators are emerging vendors with revenue <$100 million that have demonstrated either a groundbreaking business model or an innovative new technology — or both. This IDC Innovators study profiles three emerging UEM vendors for Apple devices: Addigy, Kandji, and SimpleMDM.
"Use of Macs in business is surging as IT organizations allow more employees, who are often working remotely or from home, to choose their own platforms for their primary PC device," says Phil Hochmuth, program vice president, IDC's Enterprise Mobility team. "This has exposed gaps in the enterprise IT management systems and endpoint deployment platforms many organizations have used to support installed bases of primarily Windows-based PC.
