Digital Strategy Learnings from Infosys Clients at Confluence EMEA 2019

Abstract

This IDC Perspective summarizes several key themes emerged from IDC's interaction with Infosys clients. IDC spent two days at the Confluence EMEA customer event hosted by Infosys, talking to clients and executives of the IT services provider. Several key themes emerged from IDC's interaction with Infosys clients. These included driving "innovation at scale" and the importance of changing ground-level behavior of transforming organizational culture and being transparent about change during major transformation programs.

"CIOs need to challenge their services vendors to help them drive innovative thinking and behaviors right across the whole enterprise," said Douglas Hayward, research director for Digital Strategy Consulting, IDC. "Strategic services vendors need to supply industrial-grade capabilities at scale. But that's not enough," said Hayward. "In addition, they need to understand and empathize with their clients and focus on the human side of their digital journeys."
