Abstract

This IDC Market Perspective discusses the workplace case study of VMware in the Czech Republic. An early hybrid work adopter, the company recently decided to give up its local office and switch to several shared spaces across Prague. But a few weeks into the process, acknowledging a latent need for a central physical location for staff gatherings, the company gravitated back to a centralized shared space that became the new de facto local office.

"This VMware case study is particularly relevant and timely for organizations that have fully implemented hybrid work and are reviewing their business cases for having dedicated workspaces," said Mario Lombardo, senior consultant, IDC.
