This IDC Market Forecast presents the five-year forecast for Western European shipments of B2B smartphones by operating system, user type (consumer, commercial), and generation (3G, 4G, 5G). It is part of IDC's continuing tracking research with respect to mobile devices.

"Mobile devices are key elements that enable enterprise productivity in remote working and office environments," said Rosie Secchi, senior research manager, IDC's European Mobility. "After two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, enterprises are providing the right technology and processes to remote employees.
