Abstract
This IDC study uses the IDC MarketScape model to provide an assessment of the smart manufacturing service providers supporting end-to-end smart manufacturing programs and transformation initiatives. This study specifically analyzed these offerings with a view of the European service capabilities. This report is the regional version of IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Smart Manufacturing Service Providers 2021 Vendor Assessment (IDC #EUR147689021, June 2021).
Although European manufacturers should live and breathe Industry 4.0 concepts, they tend to be overwhelmed by both the availability of today's digital technologies and the right use cases to choose, and therefore face the risk of falling behind their worldwide peers," said Maggie Slowik, research manager, European Manufacturing Digital Transformation Strategies at IDC.
