Abstract

This IDC Survey is a three-part report that explores the perspectives of the C-suite in Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) regarding the state of their economy and business and technology priorities and challenges for 2023. The series aims to help tech vendors understand how to meet technology buyers' changing priorities in facing storms of disruptions (i.e., inflation and recession, talent shortages) while accelerating transformation efforts to become digital businesses.

This analysis is based on a subset of APJ respondents from IDC's 2022 Worldwide C-Site Sentiments Survey conducted in August. Respondents included 247 C-level technology decision makers from APJ organizations with revenue of US$100 million or more.

This document examines APJ C-Suites' recession expectations in 2023 and how they will impact IT investments and spending.
