This study presents the results of IDC's 2019 Future of Work MaturityScape Benchmark Survey in Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) and should be viewed as a supplement to IDC MaturityScape: The Future of Work 1.0 (IDC #US44752519, March 2019), which describes IDC's FoW maturity framework and identifies the stages, dimensions, outcomes, and actions required for organizations to progress from each stage of maturity. Together, they provide a comprehensive overview of IDC's FoW maturity model.
"Digital transformation will urge organizations to push their conventional boundaries and rethink their business models, including technology and device choices, talent management practices, workspace and workforce policies, and, more importantly, how to deliver superior experiences for their employees and customers alike. In order to compete and thrive in the digital economy, it's crucial that organizations move beyond a siloed model to a more collaborative and an all-inclusive approach for all of their FoW efforts," says Deepan Kumar Pathy, research manager, IDC Future of Work.
