Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight curates results from IDC's Sustainable IT Infrastructure Survey to assess the importance that enterprises place on sustainability when making IT infrastructure choices and their current state of sustainability reporting and analytics.
IDC published the 2023 Sustainable IT Infrastructure Survey in January 2024 (see Sustainable Infrastructure Survey, 2023, IDC #EUR251763124, January 2024). The survey takes a deep dive into the role that sustainability plays in the context of IT infrastructure planning and procurement. 1,640 participants across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and Asia/Pacific and Japan were polled in the survey. The survey respondents included managers (directors and managers of IT and line-of-business functions), C-level executives, and vice presidents. All respondents hold significant decision-making or influencing roles in delivering digital outcomes and building out digital infrastructure within their respective organizations.
