This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights results from the following question posed to 476 respondents and firms with 1,000+ employees across 5 countries, and several major industries, as part of IDC's 2023 Worldwide Managed Services Survey: "Inhibitors. Which two of the following, if any, are major concerns or worries that may inhibit your company/organization from using managed services?" This IDC Survey Spotlight then assesses the impact of enterprise concerns on managed service providers (SPs) when utilizing managed services and the need for managed SPs to address how to provision quality of services that meet critical service-level agreements (SLAs), shift how value is created, make structural changes in their pool of talent, and implement critical capabilities to optimize financial management.
