Abstract


This IDC Survey Spotlight looks at purchase price options as well as purchasing channels in recruiting software. Organizations are focused on enhancing their talent pools, recruiting software is front and center to simplify the journey to the right employee, and the digital world is adding in new pricing and purchasing channels. IDC conducted its annual SaaSPath Survey in April 2023 (n = 110) across the talent acquisition segment of the HCM market. The overall SaaSPath Survey of n = 2,875 was conducted across 14 industries and 23 enterprise application markets.

In the talent acquisition segment of the survey, 60.9% of respondents told IDC they are reskilling, upskilling, and shifting talent so they can support the expertise required in the digital world. With this comes the need to invest in recruiting solutions to reduce the time to fill an open requisition and enhance the quality of hire. It is imperative that organizations budget for their technology investment.
