Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights the primary scope of cybersecurity consulting services engagements and the top selection factors when organizations decide on cybersecurity consulting services providers.
The survey results were taken from IDC's 2023 Worldwide Cybersecurity Consulting Services Survey conducted in the August to September period. All the 901 survey respondents' organizations have engaged in external cybersecurity consulting services providers in the past 12-18 months.
"This result is interesting and explains the growing trend of IP/asset-based consulting that is different from the old style of cybersecurity consulting," said Cathy Huang, research director, Worldwide Security Services at IDC.
