This IDC Survey Spotlight offers insights into the average hours and cost of downtime across a broad range of datacenter activities. IDC also provides some insights on how to prevent these issues and how partners can help.
In December of 2022, IDC surveyed 615 enterprises worldwide to understand the hours and cost incurred during planned and unplanned downtime of datacenter assets. In addition, we explored how they used support contracts and proactive services to prevent downtime.
