This IDC study provides an analysis of the U.S. business consulting services market for the 2023–2027 forecast period.
"GenAI will be an area that business consulting services providers can take advantage of to increase their support with client buyers. The inherent uncertainty and stress that GenAI brings to buyers will enable providers to deliver strategic and tactical recommendations, and services, to make the most of the GenAI efforts buyers adopt. Providers are already supplying clients with GenAI services that they have tested with their own staff before operationalizing with clients. This is only the start of what GenAI and the latest automation services will enable with clients. It is up to business consulting service providers to partner with their clients to guide them through the confusion and complexity that come with a tool that makes simple the possibilities found in data stores never accessed this way before," added Bill Latshaw, research director, Business Consulting Services at IDC.
