Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights results from the following question posed to 1,500 respondents who represented companies with 1,000+ employees across 6 countries, and several major industries, as part of IDC's 2022 Managed CloudView Survey: "Please select one of the following that your company/organization believes is critical to achieving effective governance across all your IT and cloud resources when using managed cloud services." This IDC Survey Spotlight then assesses the impact of these enterprise preferences in delivering effective governance on managed service providers (SPs) and provides insight into the critical investments that managed SPs will need to pursue that will support these requirements. This should be used in conjunction with the analysis from Managed CloudView 2022: Executive Summary (IDC #US48918422, September 2022).
