This IDC Market Perspective provides a recap of comms service provider (SP) capex investments for CY22. The document highlights the top 10 overall capex spenders for 2022 and the top 10 capex spenders for wireless and wireline networks, along with a regional analysis.
"Worldwide comms SP capex investment was approximately $332 billion for 2022," says Peter Chahal, research director for Telecommunications at IDC. "Wireless networks accounted for 53% of telecom capex spending last year, with Asia/Pacific being the biggest single region for capex."
