Abstract

This IDC Survey examines responses from 4,300 employees across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) related to their plans for job change, reasons behind looking for a job change, or not looking. These responses were collected in February and March in IDC's FoW Employee Experience EMEA Survey, 2024. The presentation also explores what the results mean for vendors of human capital management (HCM) and payroll applications.

"Employee retention is increasing in EMEA as key economic indicators such as inflation improves," said Bo Lykkegaard, associate vice president, European software research at IDC. "We see a strong potential for applications that help employers monitor employee sentiment, simplify and improve employee experience related to HR matters, and engage employees of all types whether at a desk, onsite, or on the move."
