Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight identifies the key IT environments that organizations have cited as areas in which they are experiencing resource underutilization, wastage, and overspending. The survey analyzes key environments such as public cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) for resource waste, in addition to core environments such as private cloud or on-prem datacenters and new environments such as data clouds and cloud AI. The insights are based on IDC's EMEA CloudOps Survey, conducted in March 2024.
