Abstract
This IDC Survey Spotlight discusses the main concerns dominating in the application development and delivery industry in Europe with regard to generative AI adoption over the next 12-18 months. The document provides a detailed view on the concerns of various app dev/delivery personas, including developers and heads of app development, IT operations executives and practitioners, platform engineering/management executives and practitioners, as well as the senior IT leadership.
The document is based on a survey question from IDC's European DevOps and Modern App Delivery Survey, September 2023. The survey covered 600 organizations with more than 500 full-time employees (FTEs) across Europe with capabilities in application development and delivery.
