Abstract
This IDC Survey is part 1 of two survey reports based on the Asia/Pacific data sets from the Global Sustainability Readiness Index Survey 2023 that was completed in August 2023. This survey report focuses on sustainable strategies and technologies of enterprises in the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) region. It captures APEJ trends in the sustainability readiness maturity of enterprises, impact of the level of sustainability maturity to business strategies, and investments in sustainability/environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-related technologies and services.
This survey report contains predictions on the direction of sustainability/ESG future investment spending of APEJ enterprises based on an analysis of current trends, drivers/motivations of sustainability/ESG adoption, and the patterns in ESG operationalization.
