Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight investigates the current status of progress of Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) enterprises when it comes to defining what sustainability success looks like for them. The survey results confirm that sustainability remains a priority for APEJ enterprises with many at the early stages of their sustainability programs. This research leverages the APEJ data results from the Future of Enterprise Resiliency & Spending Survey Wave 3 (FERS 3 2023), which was conducted in April 2023. FERS 3 2023 took the theme of tracking the emerging trends in data and technology requirements in operations of enterprises.

"Looks like many enterprises in APEJ have decided to start on their sustainability journey this year and have focused their resources on getting it right from the start by putting this much energy in determining the right metrics to measure progress in their sustainability efforts," said Melvie Espejo, research director of Asia/Pacific Sustainable Strategies and Technologies.
